Child's Love

The child who walks
The abandoned play ground
Covered in solid grey locks
Terrifying circles round

Lost light
Up in the trees
Keeping it from taking flight
Time haults to a freeze

Given it away
Out of fright
The child starts to decay
It just doesn't feel right

Half dead heart
Living only off the void
Searching for it's other part
Nearly destroyed

But of her own gun
Came her death
All she did was run
Ran till her last breath

The child wants it back
Her light
The something to fill the crack
Or this time her soul take will height
